StackJack 0.1.0.6162+41be15a
This release makes StackJack's own tools more forgiving of how an AI agent names its arguments and clearer when a call cannot be bound, and fixes several problems on the Billing page around cancelling, merging and moving subscriptions.
Improvements
- StackJack's built-in tools (run tool, run read-only tool, describe tools, search tools, tool guidance) now accept common alternative argument names. For example, an agent that sends
toolinstead oftool_name,argsinstead ofarguments, or a single tool name where a list is expected will have its call bound correctly instead of failing. Calls that already used the documented names are unaffected. - When a tool call is missing a required argument or supplies a value of the wrong type, the error now names the argument and the expected type instead of returning a generic "an error occurred" message, so the calling agent can correct itself. The error contains argument names only, never the values you sent.
Optimizations
- The Billing page loads faster for accounts with several separate subscriptions: the checks it makes against each additional subscription now run concurrently and are capped rather than running one at a time.
Bug fixes
- Billing: the dialogs opened from a connector row (such as "Change plan") sometimes did not appear after clicking. They now open reliably.
- Billing: the dates shown on the subscription card and the dates quoted in the change-plan and removal summaries beneath it could name different days for the same event when a renewal fell near midnight UTC. All of these, including "Next bill on", now use the same time zone conversion and agree.
- Billing: a subscription you have already scheduled to cancel is no longer automatically merged into your bundle. Previously such a merge could cancel the standalone subscription and continue billing its connectors against the bundle's payment method.
- Billing: an automatic subscription merge no longer overrides a connector removal you scheduled for the end of the current term. The removal stays in place and the merge is held.
UI & UX changes
- Billing: clicking "Cancel subscription" on a connector row now shows a confirmation dialog listing every connector billed on that subscription before you are taken to the cancellation page. Previously a subscription covering more than one connector could be ended from a single row with no indication that the other connectors would be affected.
- Billing: on a connector row, "Move onto my subscription" is now disabled with an explanatory tooltip when the connector's subscription is on a promotional offer that a move would end early. Previously the button remained clickable and the move was refused only after the click.
